Have you seen the behavior of the younger generation now? Rolling on the floor, screaming, throwing tantrums if they don't have it their way.
When I have children, I'm definitely not going to use technology as their source of distraction or even as their entertainment. I'd probably turn to those good ol' Disney movies and the 90's kinda cartoons, like the ones we used to watch. El Tigre, CatDog, Sagwa, Kids Next Door etc etc. But strictly, a big no no to handphones and tablets. I'm not going to spoil them that way. Most families nowadays hand over their gadgets to their children to stop from crying or bugging them.

"Here you go- watch something on Youtube or find a game to play. Don't disturb me."
Problem solved. Let's carry on with our conversation.
This just isn't right.
I've seen kids who have reached really high scores in Candy Crush! Kids who beat their parents high scores and they aren't even in school yet. My niece, who just completed her first year, knows how to switch on her parents phones/iPad and goes straight to Youtube and somehow manages to find the show she wants to watch. Mind you, she's just 14 months.
This is so worrying. What happened to going to the playground, playing with Barbie dolls and Polly Pockets, Legos, playdough? I see my nineteen and twenty year old friends playing with them instead.
