So, how's things going on?
A month (plus minus), since I've joined the Centre of Foundation Studies in PJ. It feels just as though I just got accepted in here yesterday and experienced the rush and thrills of college life. The subjects I'm taking this semester is Physics, Math, Islam and other religions, Basic Application of ICT and Quranic Language. Foundation in ICT is pretty fine. I like it, really!
I remember once, I saw my dads CISSP textbook. It was so bloody thick! That moment, I vowed to myself to never study IT. How wrong could I be? I ended up taking ICT for my SPM exam and currently doing Foundation in IT. I learnt something from this : never promise yourself to not do anything in particular, 'cause that's what you'll end up doing.
I literally cried when I saw my physics textbook. It makes do as a good weight for my arm workouts. I;veno idea really, what's going on in my Physics class. I do like Physics.. i get the concepts but why? why Lord?? does there have to be so much of calculation !? On the other hand, I've this roomie who even woke up once at 3am just to study Physics. Her reason? The teacher is good-looking and she doesn't wanna seem like an idiot in front of him. My Physics sir throws me this pitiful-cynical smile when I can't answer his questions. He's like, being nice and evil at the same time.
Math is so fun. Wish I could make it sound so meaningful. It doesn't really help that Math and I are already poles and miles apart. We repel. I know, math is essential in so many things. But I prefer the basic SPM-kinda Math. Not this sh*t I'm staring at almost everyday. The teacher is nice, but she sounds like my mom. Her 'normal' tone sounds like the 'harsh scolding' tone to us. Damn, there's an assignment on graphs due tomorrow. It's gonna be a heck long two hours tomorrow.
Before I forget, I watched this movie last weekend. Farhan Akhtar's :Bhaag Milka Bhaag, the flying Sikh (Run Milka Run). The movie was so so freaking inspirational. A must-watch ! The movie is based on the life of an Indian athlete, Milka Singh. Hats off to Farhan Akhtar on his acting! There was this one quote which really touched me..
If you don't set yourself on fire, how else would you glow?He trained every single day and had to fill a bucket full of his sweat. His determination is so freaking inspiring!
I'll be back. TA-TA ! :)
